We work on every Tesla model. Tesla Toolbox 3 gives us access to system data, fault codes and calibration on a par with a brand workshop, and on demanding cases we work with our technical partner EV Hub.
Common faults we see on Teslas
We read stored and active fault codes with Tesla Toolbox 3 and compare them with measurements on the car. That way we can tell a genuine component failure from a knock-on fault caused by something else.

The drive unit needs maintenance too
Tesla drive units contain gear oil that should be changed at high mileage, as Tesla recommends for the model. We do the job on the Model 3, Model S and Model X – including Performance versions with two drive units.
We offer two jobs. A gear oil and filter change replaces the gear oil and oil filter, at the same price for everyone. A gear oil, filter and pump change is a more extensive job where we also replace the oil pump, and the workshop recommends it when the car needs it. Members of Tesla Owners Club Norway get a TOCN price on the pump change.

Diagnostics start at kr 990,-. The repair itself is priced once we know what is wrong: you get a quote before the work is booked, and we contact you if the scope changes along the way.

Do you repair Tesla batteries in Oslo?
Yes. We diagnose and repair high-voltage batteries, drive units and charging systems on Teslas at Konows gate 67B in Oslo. On particularly demanding cases we work with EV Hub, so more faults can be repaired instead of replacing the whole battery pack.
Why has my Tesla lost range?
Reduced range can come from normal battery ageing, but also from cell imbalance, battery management faults, cooling problems, or driving style and temperature. We read out battery data and fault codes with Tesla Toolbox 3, so you know whether it is a fault or normal degradation. A full capacity test is agreed as a separate job.
Can you read the battery health on a Tesla?
Yes. We run a condition check with Tesla Toolbox 3 and give you an overview of the battery’s condition, fault codes and any deviations. It is useful both for fault-finding and before buying or selling a used car.
How much is a drive unit gear oil change?
A gear oil and filter change costs kr 1 490,- for one drive unit and kr 2 490,- for two, the same for everyone. A gear oil, filter and pump change, where the oil pump is replaced as well, costs from kr 3 890,- per drive unit on the Model S and Model X, kr 8 390,- on the Model 3 and kr 15 390,- for both drive units on Performance models. TOCN members pay from kr 3 100,- per drive unit, kr 6 690,- and kr 12 300,- for the pump change. The workshop recommends the pump change when the car needs it.
