The climate system in an EV does more than cool the cabin, it also tempers the battery. We check, leak-test and refill, and test the heat pump.
Important for comfort. Essential for the battery.
A climate system gradually loses refrigerant. The compressor then works harder, cooling gets worse and consumption goes up.

Battery temperature
Many EVs use the AC circuit to cool the battery, especially during fast charging and on hot days.

Range
Too little refrigerant means more power for cooling and less for driving.

Cleaner air
Climate cleaning removes bacteria and odour from the evaporator. Often combined with a new cabin filter.

Heat pump
We function-test the heat pump as part of the service. It decides much of your winter range.
