Inspection packages

Standard, Complete and high mileage

The service selector suggests a package based on the mileage. The suggestion is preliminary – the workshop confirms what your car needs based on its age and service history. The inspection packages are our own scope of work. A manufacturer service according to your car’s maintenance plan is confirmed by the workshop.

About the price

The price applies to the service package described. On some models and at some intervals, manufacturer-specific parts, special filters, coolant, an eCall battery or other scheduled work may be added. You will always be told the price and approve any extra work in advance.

Some maintenance is due by time, not just mileage – for example the cabin filter and brake fluid. The workshop goes through your car’s maintenance plan and agrees any additional work with you before starting.

Book a service This is a booking request. The workshop confirms the time, scope and price before any work starts. An inspection package shown here is a preliminary suggestion based on mileage.

What comes with the service

We document the work carried out and record it in the digital service book for the vast majority of makes. We have our own access for the Volkswagen Group (including VW, Audi, Škoda and Cupra) and Mercedes-Benz, and as a BMW partner we read vehicle data directly from the key. If the make has no digital service book, you get written documentation.

  • Diagnostic scan included – further fault-finding agreed as needed
  • Model-specific brake service included in the agreed package
  • Battery data read out where the model and diagnostic tools support it
  • Free exterior hand wash and basic interior cleaning with service
  • Roadside assistance: 12 months of MECA Veihjelp roadside assistance from Viking included with a qualifying service. The inclusion must be stated on the receipt. An ordinary inspection package does not automatically qualify – the workshop confirms. See MECA’s terms (meca.no, opens in a new tab).
